Children's Learning

May 17, 2026 -- The nursery is closed for the summer, unless we have a volunteer attendant.

Our nursery is open on Sunday mornings when we have an attendant, for our youngest participants. It offers a safe and fun place for little children to learn a story about God and God’s love, do a craft, and pray together.

The nursery is located at the end of the main floor hallway, just past the parish office. Parents or guardians are welcome to leave their children there with Maddie during the whole service, or drop them off for the first part of the service and pick them up during the offering time so that they may join the community for Holy Communion.

If you would prefer your young ones to be with you during worship, we welcome their presence with us! They may be with you in the pews, or hang out in the back, in the comfy chairs or on the pillows, or color at the small table provided for them.

Older kids (ages 11-18) are encouraged to participate in the diocesan youth programs.  Teens may also serve as readers or ushers if they are so inclined; and can participate in our vocal and handbell choirs.  Speak to our vicar Kimmy Meinecke if your child is interested in one of these roles.
